aXep.me is a global social-first professional services marketplace where clients post
tasks and hire trusted freelancers, and professionals build a public profile, post social updates, earn
reviews, and offer paid services. Payments are protected by Stripe escrow — funds are
held securely and released to the professional only after the client approves the completed work.
Available in 11 languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Hindi, and Korean.
Products & Services Offered
- Task Marketplace: Clients post tasks with a budget; qualified professionals place bids. Client selects a bid, pays into escrow, and releases funds on completion.
- Fixed-price Services: Professionals publish pre-packaged service offerings at a set price; clients book and pay immediately into escrow.
- Social Professional Feed: Professionals post updates, build a following, and earn reputation (XP, levels, badges, verified reviews).
- AI-assisted Communication: Real-time message translation across 11 languages, AI moderation for content safety (OpenGuardrails → Groq LlamaGuard cascade).
- Leaderboard & Reputation System: Public rankings of top-rated professionals by category, XP, completion rate, and review score.
How Payments Work (Stripe Connect)
All payments on aXep.me are processed by Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant). aXep.me uses Stripe Connect to onboard service providers as connected accounts and to route payments.
- Client pays at checkout → funds captured into a secure payment hold (escrow).
- Provider completes the work; client approves → funds released to the provider's connected Stripe account.
- Payouts to providers follow Stripe's standard payout schedule (typically 2–7 business days after fund release).
- aXep.me never stores card numbers — all card data is handled exclusively by Stripe.
- AI assistant has zero access to payment credentials and cannot initiate, approve, or reverse any payment. Every payment action requires explicit human action on the Stripe-hosted checkout interface.
Platform Fees & Pricing
aXep.me charges a platform service fee on each completed transaction. The exact fee percentage is shown at checkout before the client authorises payment — there are no hidden fees.
All prices and transactions are denominated in United States Dollars (USD). Local currency display is available for reference. Payment processing fees (charged by Stripe) may also apply and are shown at checkout.
Providers receive net proceeds (transaction price minus platform fee and processing fees) when the escrow hold is released upon client approval.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Refunds are issued in the following circumstances:
- (a) Automatically if a checkout session expires before payment is captured.
- (b) Upon mutual cancellation before the provider has started work — full refund to the client's original payment method.
- (c) By dispute decision if the client's complaint is upheld by aXep.me's review team.
- (d) As required by applicable consumer protection law.
Refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days depending on the card issuer. Platform fees are non-refundable once a task has been completed and funds released.
If work is in progress at the time of cancellation, the outcome is subject to mutual agreement or dispute resolution by aXep.me's team.

Dispute Resolution
Either party may open a dispute from their task dashboard. Funds remain in escrow while aXep.me's team reviews evidence from both sides. The team's decision (release, refund, or split) is final within the platform. Fraudulent chargebacks initiated outside the dispute flow are grounds for account suspension.

aXep.me prohibits: illegal products or services, counterfeit goods, controlled substances, weapons, adult content, gambling operations, fake reviews or social manipulation, hacking tools, Ponzi/pyramid schemes, and sanctions-listed entities. All connected accounts must comply with Stripe's list of restricted businesses.
